go to where you downloaded or redownload the rar file for 5.1. you see all of those json files that *aren't* the preset you imported?
go to the top bar. click the blocks on top of each other, to the left of the smiley face
click the dropdown that says regex, and then click "import script."
for all of those json files, import them one by one, and ensure they're on.
now try swiping.

It could be that you need to train a massive model on tons of data, then distill it down to something reasonable.

The llama 3 curves haven't been released yet, so no data to update with.

I never updated the graph for llama 2. But the released graphs seem to fit the argument presented in that pic pretty well. The llama models did continue to improve at a faster rate than the Chinchilla theory predicts.

The chinchilla paper really did a ton of damage to the whole field. They fit an oversimplified arbitrary model to a really small dataset of experiments (which so far as I know was never released, so no one could fit better theories.)

Android phones give me the ick unironically
>Off-brand hardware
>Janky OS doesnt feel smooth
>Frequent pausing
>Convoluted functionality/settings doing simple things
>Spyware
They look and feel like a worse iphone but without any other advantages. This coming from someone who daily drives linux and doesn't own an iphone. What are the positives of owning an Android phone?

Is there literally no reason for someone to buy a sata SSD in 2024. If you want high speed just get an NVMe drive. If you want high capacity then HDDs offer much higher GB/$.

Can confirm. Have two WD blacks for photo and video editing. That shit will burn up adds and nvmes fast at high volumes. Frequently updated programs and games are on a WD blue spinny boi. SSDs and nvmes should only be used for boot drives and program installations.

In fact here's all my friends motherboards and which sata ports they will disable.

Friend number 1: Gigabyte B365M DS3H. Will disable sata port 0, if you have an M.2 sata drive in it's only M.2 port. Won't disable anything if you have an NVME drive in that port.
Friend number 2: Asus Prime Z370-P. Will disable sata port 1, if an M.2 sata drive is installed into M.2_1 slot. Won't disable anything if an M.2 Sata drive is installed into the M.2_2 slot. And won't disable anything if NVME drives are installed.
Friend 3: Asrock Z390 Phantom gaming: Will disable sata ports 0 and 1 if an M.2 sata drive is installed to M.2_1 slot. Will disable sata ports 2 and 3 if one is installed to the M.2_2 slot. Will disable sata ports 4-5 if one is installed ot the M.2_3 slot. Won't disable anything if you have NVME drives installed to those slots.

I don't see how. The volume of data written from photo editing sounds like w/e, video editing likely too unless you're going through terabytes a day with hardware transcoding.

yeah, distributed and parallel is the way to go, but functional is important just for thinking. maybe replace sql with go as it's not much of a language and most coders can learn it in a few months.

1. Any assembly (indispensible for building basic mental models)

2. C (opens up all of the algol-style langs)

3. Ruby (consequently object-based, 4gl, just a joy for daily stuff amd glue code; lets you dip into MVC and web stuff via Rails)

4. Rust (prepares mind for category theory and other emerging concepts in lang design)

5. bash (optional, can make life easier)

from a codemonkey perspective you might be right, but codemonkeys are always wrong and so are you

jvm is a feat of engineering and so is ruby, you can accomplish things with these you could never dream of without them
>>
>>100319743
Who runs make new apps for windows server?

All consumer software is on web browser now.

So if you are writing server software, you only need to compile for RHEL x86. The portability benefit of JVM doesn’t matter that much anymore. It’s now even worse because if you run a docker container you need to install bloated JVM.
